At this events series, “Sustainability in Business” we’ll be looking at the UN’s sustainable goals, how they impact on business and hearing from businesses who are making changes.

Join ICAEW East Anglia for our launch event on sustainability as we introduce the subject, explain why sustainaiblity should be on your radar and give a high level look at what the business case for it is, covering:
- The UK Government's pledge to carbon net zero by 2050
- The commercial imperative for sustainaiblity in business
- The current requirements for sustainability reporting, what’s likely to come next and what should I be doing now?

We'll then take a deeper dive into what environmental sustainability means for the finance team, in particular what climate change actually means (much more than global warming) what you need to know now and what you need to consider for the future. After having attended this session you should have a better idea of how you can educate your team within your business on this important subject and awareness of what is likely to be required of you and business in the future.
